Hi Parents! Tomorrow night is our monthly band booster meeting at 7 PM.
This is a VERY IMPORTANT MEETING! And we ask that we get as many parents to attend as possible. Here are some of the topics for discussion:
Now that marching season is over, we are shifting to concert band and Winter Guard season. However, the cost of marching season has left our reserves depleted. We want to discuss the financial position, and cover what needs to be done, and how everyone can help.
Winter Concert on December 13 – The concert band and various ensembles have the opportunity to perform for family and friends. In addition, we have the reception afterwards for socializing. We will need help from volunteers to support this event, and will start to cover all the details during the meeting.
Winter Guard – We are getting ready to kick off the Winter Guard season. This will also require many volunteers throughout the season to support the staff and guards’ efforts as they progress.
January 24-25, 2019 – ACHS will be hosting the All County Honor Band for Palm Beach County. We will require parent volunteers as well as secure donations from local business for food, etc.
